Today in 95+ degree heat we joined 56 amazing gourmet foodie folks at the New Amsterdam Market at the South Street Seaport. We served iced coffee and tea to cool folks down and delight the tongue and of course we offered whole beans from Stumptown and Intelligentsia.
We met great people and talked about coffee all day. Sometimes we actually forgot how hot it was.

We hope to be back in the future. Thanks to everyone who came out to see us...we had a blast.
Ah I wish i had known, I would've come down! Very cool stuff.
I moved to 224 Sullivan St about two months ago, got myself an iced coffee from you guys the very next morning, and the rest is history. Service with a smile, good vibrations, and genuinely delicious coffee. Being that I work at 29th and 5th, however, I came to try a cup of Stumptown's coffee for the very first time yesterday at the recommendation of a friend (who knows nothing of third rail other than my rambling), and was pleasantly surprised. I thought to myself, "uh oh, I wonder if Third Rail knows they've got some competition uptown!!!" What a nice surprise though to find out that you guys help eachother out... Awesome.
...of course this is all from the perspective of someone completely oblivious to the inner workings of the indie manhattan coffeeshop network, but I thought I'd share anyways...
